Music Production and Mixing
Check out some of my music projects that I produced, mixed, and even mastered here!
Pokémon Red/Blue Opening Remix
This is a remix of the iconic opening theme from the original Pokémon games, Red and Blue. It was put together only using MIDI instruments. I produced, mixed, and mastered the whole song in Logic Pro.

Day and Night
This song was the first project uploaded to my portfolio. My inspiration for this piece came from the image of Castellia City from Pokémon in my head. I wanted it to sound relaxing and uplifting. I mainly tried to incorporate a jazz feel, but it also sounds like something you’d hear in the casual part of a video game. The first half has a happier daytime vibe, and the second half has a more groovy nighttime vibe.
Take the Journey (but Jazz)
The following arrangement was the final project of my third portfolio class. For this project, I decided to make a jazz cover of the song "Take the Journey," which was originally created by HOYO-MIX. This was the first project where I pulled out my tap shoes to record for a professional mix. This is also my first project that I've been brave enough to try singing. Most of the instrumentation was created with MIDI instruments; but I recorded some percussion elements live and sung all of the vocals.

Queen's Light (Remixed)
For this project I got to select a song to remix by creating multiple variations through a variety of methods. When choosing which song I'd remix, "Queen's Light" by Dino On The Loose caught my ear because of it's upbeat and funky groove. I knew I could create something interesting from it.
The first recording is the song as normal; the second recording includes some of my favorite variations. These variations include the use of sound design, the addition of tap shoes, and a groove change.
Ghostly Mansion
This short song composition was inspired by the music of Luigi's Mansion 2. The song was made completely using MIDI instruments with one exception. I recorded myself making various ghost sounds and processed them to sound closer to the ghosts found in the game.
